Part of one of Glasgow’s busiests intersections will shut over the weekend due to emergency gas repairs.
The eastbound Clydeside Expressway to M8 Kingston Bridge westbound on ramp will be closed from 8pm on Friday.
SGN is carrying out urgent repairs that are forcing the closure of Wallace Street, between West Street and Paterson Street, from Friday until 6am on Monday.
Wallace Street traffic will be diverted via West Street, Morrison Street and Paterson Street.
Clydeside Expressway traffic will be diverted via North Street, St Vincent Street and A804.
Glasgow’s Traffic Control Management said delays can be expected.
It comes as the city’s Clyde Tunnel has been reduced to one lane.
Due to emergency maintenance of the Southbound bore, all tunnel traffic will be diverted via contraflow in the Northbound bore.
The works are expected to continue into next week.
