Humza Yousaf faces First Minister's Questions amid crumbling concrete fears

A ministerial statement addressing RAAC is expected in Holyrood on Thursday afternoon after FMQs.

Humza Yousaf is facing First Minister’s Questions amid calls for action on crumble-prone concrete in schools, hospitals and other buildings across Scotland.

It comes after Yousaf laid out his Programme for Government this week in which he set priorities that he described as “unashamedly anti-poverty and pro-growth”.

A ministerial statement addressing RAAC is expected in Holyrood on Thursday afternoon after FMQs.

Stirling University Student Union issued a statement on Wednesday night saying it had to close a floor just as it was due to welcome freshers after the potentially dangerous reinforced aerated autoclaved concrete (RAAC) was found.
