Tesco is recalling a stuffing mix over fears they may be contaminated with “moths”.

The potential contamination of the Finest Apple & Cranberry Stuffing Mix makes the popular Christmas food unsafe to eat, the Food Standards Agency has said.

Customers who bought the recalled products are encouraged to return them to the store they were bought from and no receipt is required, the supermarket chain has said.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “Tesco recalls Tesco Finest Apple & Cranberry Stuffing Mix because of the possible presence of moths.

“This product has a presence of insects, which makes it unsafe to eat.

“If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was
