Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, STV News has covered the conflict extensively.
I’ve already heard the harrowing stories from people still in Ukraine, from some of those who are trying to leave, and from those who have already managed to get out of the country.
We have also been focusing on the huge humanitarian aid effort in Scotland to help those in Ukraine who are the most in need.
Well this week, STV News is going to bring you a series of special reports from here in neighbouring Poland.
I’m currently in Krakow, and we are going to be hearing and speaking to some Scots who had to make the heart breaking decision to leave their homes in Ukraine.
We’re also planning on travelling south to the Polish-Ukrainian border to see first hand that massive humanitarian aid effort as thousands and thousands of refugees continue to cross the border.
