Buckingham Palace announced the Duke of Sussex will travel to the UK for the King's Coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6.

Prince Harry will attend his father’s Coronation but his wife Meghan will remain at home in California with their children.

Buckingham Palace announced the Duke of Sussex will travel to the UK for the King’s Coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6.

The Duchess of Sussex will remain in US with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Earlier this year, Harry revealed his troubled relationship with his father King Charles and brother William the Prince of Wales in his controversial autobiography Spare.

It followed an already turbulent time in the Sussexes’ relationship with the rest of the Royal Family.

They have been asked to vacate their UK home Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor estate, in a move sanctioned by the King.

The grade-II listed ten bedroom Frogmore Cottage, situated in the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire, was a gift to the royal couple from the late Queen.

Harry returned to the UK last month for the first time since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral to appear at a High Court hearing in London in his claim against Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers over allegations of unlawful information-gathering.

Thousands of celebratory events are expected to take place throughout the coronation weekend from May 6.

Scots are being urged to take part in Big Lunch community events to celebrate and nominate their area as the friendliest place to live.

The winner will receive £2,500 towards their next project.
