One Lotto ticket-holder wins £2m Wednesday jackpot

One lucky Lotto ticket-holder has won Wednesday’s £2m jackpot.

They scooped the top prize by matching all six main numbers.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “What incredible news, one ticket-holder has won tonight’s fabulous £2m Lotto jackpot.

“This is the second jackpot win in less than a week after one lucky ticket-holder won the entire £20m special ‘Must Be Won’ jackpot in Saturday’s draw.”

He urged all players to check their tickets and to get in touch if they are the lucky winner.

Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is an estimated £3.8m.

Wednesday’s winning Lotto numbers were 06, 21, 24, 40, 47, 52 and the bonus number was 30.

Set of balls eight and draw machine Merlin was used.

No ticket-holders matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win £1 million.

There were 27 players who each won £1,750 after matching five of the six numbers.

No players matched all five numbers to win £350,000 in Wednesday’s Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, but five matched four numbers to claim £13,000.

The winning Thunderball numbers were 04, 14, 19, 23, 30 and the Thunderball was 01.

There were no ticket-holders who scooped the £500,000 top prize by matching five numbers and the Thunderball – while one player won £5,000 for matching five numbers.
