A body has been found in a South London park during the search for a missing woman who has not been seen in two weeks.
The last sighting of Petra Srncova was on Sunday, November 28, in the city’s Camberwell after she took two buses there from her place of work at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital at around 8.22pm.
The 32-year-old nursing assistant was reported missing by a colleague on Friday, December 3.
A man was arrested over her disappearance before being released on bail on Sunday just hours before a body was found at 11.40am in Brunswick Park, close to where Ms Srncova was last seen.
Formal identification has yet to take place but police say Petra’s family have been informed.
A spokesperson for Southwark Police said: “At this early stage, the woman’s death is being treated as unexplained.
“While formal identification is yet to take place, the family of Petra Srncova – who had been reported missing from Camberwell – have been informed.”
