The search for a missing woman after an incident in Glasgow’s River Kelvin has entered its third week.
Emergency services were called to a report of concern for two people in the water near to Eldon Street shortly before 6pm on October 11.
A man was rescued by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed that a search for a 59-year-old woman is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson previously said: “Around 5.45pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, we received a report of concern for two people in the water at the River Kelvin, near to Eldon Street, Glasgow.
”A man was rescued by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Searches are ongoing for a 59-year-old woman who remains missing.”
The force confirmed that the woman remains missing and enquiries are ongoing.
