A probe has been launched after a woman was left in hospital following an assault in Glasgow city centre.
Police were called to reports of an attack on a 28-year-old on Argyle Street, at around 11.10pm on Wednesday.
The woman was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to her injuries.
Officers said enquiries into the incident were ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of an assault at Argyle Street in Glasgow which happened at around 11.10pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
“A 28-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
