A woman has been arrested following the death of a man on a street in Renfrew.
Emergency services were called to Tennant Street at around 4.20pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of an injured man.
The 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers confirmed on Monday that a 34-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
On Tuesday, it was revealed a 33-year-old woman has also been arrested in connection as enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of an injured man on Tennant Street in Renfrew around 4.20pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
“Officers attended and a 35-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
“A 33-year-old woman has also been arrested in connection with the death and enquiries are continuing.”
