A man has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder after a woman fell from a window in Helensburgh.
Police were called to Maitland Court at around 11.20am on Sunday, May 8, after receiving reports that a woman had fallen from a window.
Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed a 34-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder.
He appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, May 10.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 11.20am on Sunday, May 8, 2022, officers were called to a report of a 35-year-old woman having fallen from a window in Maitland Court, Helensburgh.
“Emergency services attended, and she was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
“A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
