A man is due to appear in court charged in connection with the death of a woman at a property in Glasgow’s east end.
Police were called to the property on Tummel Street in Riddrie at around 7.40pm on June 27 following reports of a woman being seriously injured.
A 36-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
She has been named Maxine Clark and her family have been made aware of the death.
The 32-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 1 July, 2024.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson: “A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Maxine Clark in Riddrie, Glasgow.
“Around 7.40pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024, police received a report of a woman found seriously injured within a property on Tummel Street.
“Emergency services attended, however Maxine, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family are aware.
“The 32-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, July 1, 2024.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
