A patient driver slowed down a train’s arrival at a station to allow a mother duck to reunite with her ducklings.
The moment the 10am service pulled into East Kilbride on Wednesday was caught on camera by a commuter.
The adult duck can be seen waddling on the tracks while her offspring follow along on the platform.
As the train slowly approaches, it is unclear what fate awaits them.
But fortunately, eye-witnesses said the duck was able to fly onto to the platform and be reunited with her family before leading them through the station and out of the door.
“We applaud the actions of our driver when faced with this adorable, feathery family affair,” a ScotRail spokesperson said.
“Safety is our top priority, even for our fine-feathered friends. Thankfully, the train didn’t ruffle any feathers during this delightful encounter.”
