Two men have been taken to hospital after an incident on a residential street in Kilsyth.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Coach Place, South Barrwood Road, at around 1.55am on Saturday.
Two men, aged 25 and 40, had been left injured after a stabbing, STV News understands.
The men were taken by Ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.
Their conditions are currently unknown, and an investigation is under way.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
“Anyone with information that may assist the investigation should contact 101 with reference number 0363 of March 25.”
