Two men have been charged after police seized cannabis and cocaine worth more than £40,000 from a property in North Lanarkshire.
On Thursday morning, officers from Greater Glasgow CID executed a warrant at a property in Kilsyth.
A quantity of cannabis and cocaine was seized, with a combined estimated street value of around £41,000.
Two men, aged 49 and 25, have been arrested and charged for drugs offences in connection with the drugs that were seized. They will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
A cannabis cultivation was also discovered within the property and enquiries are ongoing into this.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “We have arrested two men and our enquiries into the cultivation are ongoing. I would urge anyone with any information that could assist to contact us as soon as possible.
“Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
