Two men have have been charged after robbing clothing banks in multiple towns.
Police were called following thefts at clothing banks in Larkhall, Lanark and Carluke between Thursday, November 24 and Thursday, December 1.
Officers have confirmed that two men, aged 28 and 29, have been arrested and charged in connection with the crime.
They appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
A police spokesperson said: “Two men aged 28 and 29 have been arrested and charged in connection with thefts from clothing banks in Larkhall, Lanark and Carluke.
“The thefts took place between Thursday, November 24 and Thursday, December 1.
“The men were expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, December 12, 2022.”
