Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with an assault in Paisley which left a man in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Ladyburn Street at around 8.15om on Friday, after a 35-year-old man was assaulted.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition has been described as serious.
Police confirmed that two men, aged 37 and 31, and a woman, 32, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man who had been assaulted at Ladyburn Street in Paisley shortly after 8.15pm on Friday, June 9.
“The 35-year-old has been taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
“Two men, aged 37 and 31, and a woman, 32, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
