Two people have been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in West Dunbartonshire in the early hours of Monday morning.
Shortly after midnight on May 8, police were called to an address in Alexander Street, Clydebank where a 38-year-old man had shown up at a takeaway seeking assistance after allegedly being stabbed by a man in the close of nearby flats.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police confirmed on Tuesday morning that two people, a 62-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
They have been released pending further enquiries.
