Two arrests made after man fatally stabbed in Glasgow

Two men have been arrested after a 27-year-old died after being stabbed in Glasgow.

Brian Gough, from the city’s Springburn area, was attacked on Saracen Street in Possil at around 5pm on Saturday.

Emergency services were called and he was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died.

Police confirmed that two men, aged 26 and 36, have now been arrested in connection with the death.

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

Officers have urged people to contact the major investigation team with any information, which can be submitted anonymously.
