Two men have appeared in court after police seized drugs with a potential value of almost £2m following a Glasgow operation.

Police Scotland confirmed that officers had seized approximately 42kgs of what is “believed to be” cocaine on Thursday.

Around £1.8m worth of the class A drug was seized during the operation.

Shaun Willis, 34, and Brian Skinner, 56, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday charged with the Misuse Of Drugs Act 1971.
