ScotRail has announced that there will be disruptions to services in South Lanarkshire after passengers “caused a disturbance” on board a train.
Emergency services were called to Larkhall railway station on Saturday afternoon following reports of “passengers causing a disturbance”.
It is unknown at this stage if anyone was injured following the incident.
A spokesperson said that while services remain running delays, alterations and cancellations are expected”.
A ScotRail spokesperson said: “We have had reports of passengers causing a disturbance on a train earlier today at Larkhall. We’re working closely with emergency services during this time.
“Services are running, but delays, alterations and cancellations are still expected.”
