Three teenagers have been charged in connection with an alleged racist attack against two Indian students in Glasgow.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Buchanan Street in the city centre on Monday, May 15 at around 10:55pm.
Police Scotland said a 14-year-old boy and two 15-year-old girls have now been charged in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 10.55pm on Monday, 15 May, 2023, police were called to a report of a hate crime and assaults on two women on Buchanan Street, Glasgow.
“A 14-year-old male youth and two 15-year-old female youths have been charged in connection with the incident.
“Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and Youth Justice Management Service.”
