Witnesses are being sought by police after an altercation between a group of men in Glasgow City Centre.

Officers were called to Buchanan Street at around 12:15 am on Saturday after the incident involving four individuals.

One man was arrested at the scene, whilst two men were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

A fourth man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he is receiving treatment, said Police.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Glasgow were called to an altercation between four men which happened on Buchanan Street at around 12.15 am on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

“One man was arrested at the scene. Two men were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment before being released and arrested.

“The fourth man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he remains receiving treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 0086 of July 10.”
