Three arrested after man found seriously injured at hotel

Three people have been arrested after a man was found seriously injured near a hotel in Glasgow.

Police were called to the scene on Woodside Place, near the Acorn Hotel, at around 1.55pm on Thursday.

Emergency services also attended and the 40-year-old was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he remains.

Medical staff have described his condition as serious.

Three men have since been arrested in connection with the incident and officers are investigating.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Three men were arrested after a man was found seriously injured on Woodside Place, Glasgow, around 1.55pm on Thursday.

“The 40-year-old was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and enquiries are ongoing.”
