Thieves steal generator from breast cancer screening facility

Anyone who witnessed the thefts or has dashcam footage that can assist with enquiries is urged to come forward.

A generator and trailer have been stolen from a breast cancer screening facility in North Lanarkshire.

Between 6pm on Thursday November 23 and 8am on Friday November 24, a Compare air compressor was taken from a premises on Glasgow Road in Wishaw.

The following Monday at approximately 10pm, a generator and trailer were stolen from the breast cancer screening facility situated within the car park of Wishaw sports centre on Alexander Street.

Both items are large and would have required to have been towed using another vehicle.

Police are now keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the thefts or who may have dashcam footage which could assist enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 0502 of Tuesday November 28.
