A teenager was taken to hospital and subsequently arrested for allegedly trespassing on a railway track in West Dunbartonshire.
British transport police were called to Kilpatrick Train Station at around 11.39pm on Wednesday after receiving reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
An 18-year-old man was discovered and taken to hospital for minor injuries.
He was then arrested on suspicion of trespassing and being in breach of a harassment order.
Trains passing through the station were subject to cancellation and delay while emergency services responded to the incident.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Kilpatrick railway station at 11.39pm on February 1 to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“An 18-year-old man was located and taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
“He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of trespass and being in breach of a harassment order and conveyed to police custody.”
