Concerns are growing for a 15-year-old boy from Glasgow who disappeared from home after saying he wanted to “clear his head”.
Winston Hastings Kearse left a note at his mother’s house in Shawlands before disappearing without his phone, bank card or any money.
When he left him the only possessions he took with him were two teddy bears.
He is described as 5ft 5in in height, of slim build, and has dark hair.
His father, Toby Kearse, took to social media in an appeal to the public, describing him as a “much loved wee guy”.
He wrote: “My 15-year-old son, Winston Hastings Kearse, has been missing since Friday morning.
“He left his mums house in Shawlands, Glasgow, without his phone, bank card or any money, leaving a note saying he wasn’t going to school and wanted time to clear his head (or words to that effect).
“He is about 5ft 5in, slim build, dark hair, usually dresses in black tracksuit/joggers with black sneakers, usually Nike. He is a bright, smart, streetwise young man, intelligent, charming and mischievous.
“Please share this post far and wide, any help is very much appreciated for this much loved wee guy.”
Police Scotland confirmed that enquiries are ongoing to trace the teenager.
If anyone has any information on Winston’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact officers on 101 immediately, referencing incident number 0695 of November 10.
