A teenager is due to appear in court on Monday charged in connection with the death of a 70-year-old man in Glasgow.
A 15-year-old male was arrested and charged following an alleged serious assault at around 11.55pm on Victoria Road in the city’s south side on April 12.
The 70-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and his family have been informed.
The teenager is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, April 15.
Detective inspector Alan Ferguson said: “At this time, our thoughts remain with the deceased’s family and friends, as they come to terms with their tragic loss.
“I would like to thank the local community for their assistance with our enquiries.”
