A teenage boy is fighting for his life after being pulled from a river in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to the River Gryfe, near to Auchans Farm, at around 6.50pm on Wednesday.
The teenager was recovered from the water and taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, where he remains in a critical condition.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
