A teenager has been charged after a brick was thrown through the window of a bus in Glasgow, hitting a baby on the head.

The 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with alleged involvement in the incident, which occurred on January 10 around 6.45pm.

The brick was thrown through the window of the vehicle on Battlefield Road where it landed in a pram, hitting a 17-month-old baby on the head.

The baby was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for checks and was later released.

Police Scotland confirmed that a report is due to be submitted to the Scottish Children’s Reporter and enquiries are ongoing.
