A teenage boy has been arrested following an alleged assault on a street in Glasgow.
Police were called to a report of a serious assault on Machrie Drive, Castlemilk, at around 8.34am on Tuesday.
Officers confirmed a 16-year-old boy has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this stage as enquiries continue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An 16-year-old boy has been arrested following a serious assault which happened around 8.34am on Tuesday, April 18 in Machrie Drive in Glasgow.
“There was no wider threat to the community and enquiries are ongoing.”
