A teenager had his bike and car stolen as he was robbed at knifepoint in North Ayrshire.
The 17-year-old boy was with his dog during the ordeal on Nelson Street, Largs, on Friday.
Two suspects threatened him with the weapon and stole his bike and white Suzuki Alto around 12.30am.
Police have made an appeal for information and said the victim, who later found his bike on Moorburn Road, was left “extremely shaken” by the incident.
The first suspect was as a white male, 6ft tall and had a local accent. He was wearing a dark grey North Face hoody and light grey trackies.
The second man is described as 6ft tall with his face partially covered and was wearing a red jacket, which belonged to the victim.
Detective sergeant Stephen McCulloch said: “The victim was not hurt but was left extremely shaken by this incident. Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspects and the victim’s car.
“We are particularly keen to speak to a woman who spoke to the victim after the incident and commented on his dog.
“If anyone has any information relating to the incident, or saw anyone matching the descriptions either before or after the incident, they should contact police.”
