Detectives have launched an investigation after a teenage boy was stabbed in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow.
The 16-year-old victim was attacked in Dalmarnock Road near to Muslin Street between 9pm and 10pm on Sunday.
Police said the boy was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to stab wounds.
Medical staff described his condition as “serious but stable”.
Detective constable Sarah Steven, from Shettleston CID, said: “Enquiries are at an early stage to establish exactly what happened and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or noticed anything suspicious, to contact us.”
