A teenager allegedly endangered a six-week-old baby girl’s life by holding her by the neck.
The 17-year-old boy is accused of committing the offence at various locations in Glasgow’s Toryglen area in April this year.
Prosecutors claim the teenager placed three women in a state of fear or alarm by stating he would take the child from them while under the influence of alcohol.
The boy is also charged with exposing the child to unnecessary suffering or injury by taking her from her home while unfit through drink or drugs.
He faces a final charge of assaulting a woman by struggling with her, seizing her by the throat and pushing her to the ground.
The teen – who can’t be named for legal reasons – pleaded not guilty to the charges at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
A trial date was set for January next year by Sheriff Johanna Johnston QC, who continued the teenager’s bail.
