A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the culpable homicide of a 70-year-old man in Glasgow.
Police were called to Victoria Road in the city’s South Side shortly before midnight on Friday following reports of a serious assault.
A 70-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed the teenage suspect was then arrested and charged. He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
The boy, from Glasgow, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, made no plea.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear again in court within the next eight days.
