A sword and baton have been recovered from a train station in Glasgow.
British Transport Police officers were called to Carmyle station on Saturday, March 16 following reports of the weapons being found.
An image shared on social media showed red sword with Chinese markings and a black police baton.
A statement from BTP read: “Officers were called to Carmyle railway station just after 1.30pm on March 16 to reports that a weapon had been found.
“Officers attended and a bladed item was recovered
“There is no place for weapons on Scotland’s rail network.”
