A suspect is due to appear in court after a man was taken to hospital following a serious assault in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to an address on Muirdrum Avenue in the Cardonald area of the city at around 4.40pm on Tuesday to a report of a serious assault.
A 35-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.
Police confirmed that a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and will appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Muirdrum Avenue, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He’ll appear in court at a later date.”
