A man has died after he was attacked in Renfrewshire on New Year’s Day.
Emergency services were alerted to the fatal assault in Erskine’s Park Drive area shortly before 1pm on Friday.
Police said the man died at the scene.
Officers have cordoned off the area for forensic works.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 12.55pm on Friday, January 1, to a report of a man being assaulted in the Park Drive area of Erskine.
“He sadly died at the scene.
“Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
