Six teenagers have been charged after two men were left in hospital following a ‘mass brawl’ in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to reports of a disturbance on Anniesland Road at Crow Road at around 7.25pm on Sunday.

Police confirmed two men, aged 18 and 20, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with “serious” injuries.

Three men, aged 18, 18 and 17, and three male youths, aged 16, 16 and 15, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to come forward.

Detective inspector John Dowds of Drumchapel CID said: “We know that the area would have been busy at the time, so it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident.

“Two young men have been seriously injured so it’s crucial we establish exactly what happened.

“Any small piece of information could prove important, so please do get in touch if you think you can help.”

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3111 of May 5.

“Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
