Thousands of pounds worth of sheepskin boots and slippers have been stolen from premises in South Lanarkshire.

The furry footwear was nicked from a unit in Langlands Commerical Park in East Kilbride.

Sometime between 2pm on Wednesday, December 8, and 7.30am on Friday, December 10, the premises were broken into and a large number of Shephy branded footwear was taken.

Police Scotland said the shoes were valued at around £12,500.

They warned the public to contact officers if they are approached by people trying to sell the footwear.

A spokesperson said: “Please contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 0562 of December 10, 2021. An anonymous report can also be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
