A second teenager has been arrested over the death of a man who was fatally injured in a disturbance at a shopping centre in North Lanarkshire.
The 18-year-old has also been charged over the death of James Ross who was left injured on Larch Road, near Abronhill Shopping Centre in Cumbernauld on Monday.
Emergency services attended at around 4.30pm and the 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 15-year-old who was arrested soon after has been released pending further investigations.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that a murder investigation was underway in relation to the incident.
Police Scotland confirmed the arrest.
A spokesman for the force said: “We can confirm that an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of James Ross in Cumbernauld on Monday, February 14.”
The teenager is due to appear at court on Thursday.
