Second man charged after Audi driven into building in 'murder bid'

An Audi Q7 was deliberately driven at a man and crashed into a premises on Spey Road in Bearsden on Sunday.

A second man has been charged after a car was driven into a building in an alleged murder bid in Bearsden.

Police were called to the report of a disturbance in the early hours of Sunday morning after an Audi Q7 was allegedly deliberately driven at a man and crashed into a premises on Spey Road.

There were no reports of any injuries following the incident and the driver of the Audi and a passenger left the scene.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday, November 23.

It comes after a 40-year-old man was earlier arrested and charged in connection with the disturbance.

He was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, November 20.

Enquiries are ongoing and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
