A search is underway for a missing man from Glasgow who was was last seen two days ago.

Paul Skivington, from Castlemilk, left his home in Dougrie Court for work at around 7.30am on Thursday and was seen on Castlemilk Drive at around 5.15pm the same day.

There has been no sighting of the 40-year-old since and concern over his welfare is growing.

Police are now appealing for the public’s help in tracing him.

He is described as being around 5ft 10 with a medium build a d short, brown hair.

When last seen he was wearing a blue jacket with high-viz letters on the back spelling BARCLAYS, black jogging bottoms and black Adidas trainers.

Paul drives as silver VW Polo, registration mark SY06 TVU, and officers are also keen to trace this vehicle.

Sergeant Gary Phillips said: “Paul has not been in touch with his family for several days now and they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. We are asking anyone who may have seen Paul since Thursday or might know where he is to get in touch.

“Likewise, if anyone has seen his car or comes across the vehicle, please let us know.

“If you can help please contact Police Scotland on 101.”
