The teenager failed to return home after saying she was going to meet friends.

Search underway for Bannockburn teenager missing since Saturday after she did not return from meeting friends — Charlie MacCallum: The 16-year-old was last seen in Bannockburn Police Scotland

Police in Stirling are appealing to trace a 16-year-old girl who has been missing since Saturday.

Charlie MacCallum was last seen in the Bannockburn area on July 30 when she said she was going out to meet friends.

When she did not return she was reported missing to police the following evening.

Anyone with information regarding the teenager’s whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting the reference MPR6230260822.
