A 12-year-old who disappeared from school on Monday morning has been found safe.
The schoolgirl’s mum confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that she had been traced around ten miles away from her school in the east end.
She had been missing from around 11.30am on Monday.
Her ‘relieved’ mother thanked everyone who shared her appeal.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The missing 12-year-old girl has been traced in Glasgow and is safe and well.”
