A multi-agency search has been carried out in attempts to trace a man from Middlesbrough after his car was discovered at a car park in Scotland.
Police were made aware of concern for 42-year-old Ernestas Dagys at around 12pm on Tuesday, February 27 following a report that his car had been discovered in the Mull of Galloway car park.
Searches are being carried out in the area with specialist resources, including assistance from the RNLI and HM Coastguard.
It is believed he travelled to the area on Sunday, February 25.
Ernestas is described as white, around 5’8” tall, of slim build with short brown hair.
When he was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Inspector Stephen Judge said: “I’m appealing for any information which may help us trace Ernestas.
“Following enquiries, we believe he travelled to the Mull of Galloway area on Sunday, February 25.
“If you’ve been in the area since Sunday, please think back. Did you see someone matching his description? Please get in touch with any information you have.
“Ernestas, if you see this appeal, please make contact with police so we can ensure you’re safe and well.”
