A young boy has been taken to hospital after being struck by a van in Glasgow.
Officers responded to reports of the incident which happened on London Road around 1pm on Thursday.
Police confirmed that a 12-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Children for further treatment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.05pm on Thursday, 22 February, police were called to a report of a 12-year-old boy having been struck by a van in London Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and the boy was taken by ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow for treatment.”
