A woman has been taken to hospital after a lorry overturned in Dumfries and Galloway.
The vehicle crashed on the A76 to the south of Sanquhar shortly before 9am on Monday.
The female driver was taken to Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A stretch of the road has been closed until the vehicle is recovered, however the northbound carriageway is open under police control.
Drivers are being urged to “be patient”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of an overturned lorry on the A76 to the south of Sanquhar around 8.50am on Monday, May 10.
“The female driver has been taken to Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“The road is currently closed while recovery of the vehicle is arranged.”
