A man who raped two young children has been jailed for five years over the attacks.
Darren Fleming preyed on the girls, who were aged eight and nine-years-old, over a four year period at his home in Kilsyth, Lanarkshire.
Fleming, now 24, was a teenager when the crimes occurred between 2011 and 2016.
The victims bravely reported their ordeals and their evidence lead to him being convicted at the High Court in Glasgow.
Fleming denied the accusations but was convicted of two rape charges.
Sentencing, Lord Armstrong told him: “I have read the victim impact statements and the terms clearly indicate the harm caused.
“You callously robbed them of the innocence of their childhood.
“I note that you continue to deny responsibility for the crimes and have no displayed no empathy for your victims.
“I must recognise that the offences are disturbing and grave.”
Fleming was put on the sex offenders list indefinitely.
