Officers are looking to speak with a male who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

Police are searching for a man wearing Nike Air Max 95s after an attempted robbery in Glasgow.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Tuesday, January 23, on Garrioch Road, in Maryhill.

Officers are looking to speak with a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

He is described as white, slim build, and aged around 50-years-old. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black jacket, black trousers and white Nike Air Max 95s.

Police constable George Glen of Govan Police Station said: “We are keen to speak to this man who may have information to assist with our enquiries. I would encourage him, or anyone who recognises him, to please contact us.”

Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2869 of January 23, 2024, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
